Ability to download data for clients instead of only individual matters.

Also, downloading matter-by-matter just gives us the files. Metadata is lost.

Hi David and Ismael, thank you both for your input.
At 100,000 feet I would agree... though we run into real-world technology limitations.
To make downloading multiple/many docs easy (and possible), when you download a Matter, LexWorkplace compresses the entire matter into a zip file (folder structure/hierarchy stays intact). Zip files has have an upper size limit, so the notion of "download everything at once" (or even--everything for a specific client) would likely run into this and other technical limitations/issues.
For that reason, downloading matter-by-matter, while time consuming, is the most
reliable
method.(And, for what it's worth, in other practice/document management tools, users must download each
document
, one by one... and we certainly wanted to create, and have created, a better method.)I hope this context helps.

LexWorkplace Product Team, as a former use of Worldox, I can tell you that they had something called WDEXPORT that allowed us to download a complete client, or all my clients with an accompanying metadata file. NetDocuments has a "Mass Export Utility" that does the same.

I second this. It is a bit concerning that I cannot move my data from LWP unless I want to do it matter-by-matter. Considering we have over 6,000 matters, you can imagine the effort this requires.
