Clio Integration - Create Client or Matter Type if Doesn't Exist in LW

Currently, LexWorkplace only populates matter fields when pulling a mater from Clio if there is a matching item in LexWorkplace (EG: a matching Matter Type, Client Name, etc.)
New functionality that would create the Matter Type and Client records if they do no exist in LexWorkplace.

Customer Feedback:
Allow Matter Type to be pulled from Clio when Creating a New Matter from within LexWorkplace, even if the Clio
Practice Area Tag does not match an existing Matter Type in LexWorkplace.

I'm not certain this is the right place for this, so apologies if I missed the point here.
But, I have over 11,000 open matters in Clio. LW only has somewhere in the range of 200 matters available to select from. Seems like it would be helpful, to be able to "force" a Clio matter into LW, by indicating the Matter # or URL or something (permissible by the Clio API), so that we can easily add a Clio Matter that may not otherwise be available in LW.

Allow Client to be pulled from Clio when Creating a New Matter from within LexWorkplace, rather than requiring client to be manually entered in LexWorkplace. Currently, only if client only exists in LexWorkplace and exactly matches the client name in Clio will the client field be populated.

Are you saying that if I go into LexWorkplace and create that specific matter type first, then it will pull it from Clio? I understand that option. But if clients are initially entered in Clio and a new "practice area" is used or we have a variety of "practice area" descriptions in Clio due to variations over the years, then each time we have to manually enter it in LexWorkplace, rather than simply allowing the tag used in Clio to pull through to LexWorkplace. Or am I misunderstanding your response?

Cheryl Van Ackern: Yes, that's exactly right: If LexWorplace sees a matching Matter Type, it will fill that matter type in when you pull from Clio.

Thanks for the feedback Cheryl!
A note: You CAN actually make that Matter Type (Practice Area) once/one-time in LexWorkpalce, and as long as it matches the Matter Type in Clio, pulling future matters of that type will carry over into LexWorkplace.
