Custom Document Fields (Including: User-Defined Date Field for Documents)
planned
LexWorkplace Product Team
The ability to create custom fields (properties) for Documents. These field could be, for instance:
* A Date Field (example below)
* A Drop-Down Field, with user-definable options (similar to 'Document Type')
* A Text Field (similar to Email 'Short Note')
One use case/example is a custom Date field for documents:
Currently LexWorkplace has two date fields for documents: Created Date and Last Modified Date. These are both system date fields (user cannot change them).
This Feature Request is for a third, USER-DEFINABLE date field. The filed could be called, or example, "User-Defined Date". This date field could be set to any date by the user; and could be used for things like:
* Document Deadline
* Filed Date (date filed with court)
* Other important/relevant date for this document

Since we use LWP for our electronic files it would be extremely helpful if more than one user-defined field/column could be created (e.g. date field and author field).
