Optional functionality where users MUST enter specified document properties when saving/uploading to LW. For instance, you could require that any new document be given a Document Type. If implemented, this feature could be universally enabled or disabled for your firm.
This could also apply to a client or matter (making certain fields required).

Completely agree. I know LW pitched LW as not requiring this as a good thing, but I would love the option to make certain things required. I want my staff to categorize and tag things making it a requirement would ensure they don't "forget"

Paralegal - You're 100% right. SOME firms really want this feature (we refer to it as 'Forced Profiling'), others definitely don't, as it would slow them down and create unnecessary friction. We plan to implement this at some point, but it will be an OPTIONAL setting (firm-wide, on or off).
Trevor Nelson - I'm going to merge this feature request with the existing request, so your vote adds to that.

If this is adopted, I think it should be adopted as an administrator feature to enable. Our firm does not operate this way and this would add pointless delays for our practice. I could see how it might assist others.
