Launcher Replacement
Maria Tanzillo
Is possible to develop something that works in the background of the user's system, rather than having the user receive Launcher update notifications and actually proceeding with the update. We seem to have more issues with the Launcher not running on a user's system than anything else with the software. Despite updating the Launcher when prompted, we still have problems with Lex saving documents after opening from Lex, making changes and then saving those changes in the software (Word, for example), but the changes are not saved! This is despite having the Launcher updated, and logging in and out properly! Perhaps another way of devices communicating with Lex and device's applications! Extremely frustrating for many of our users!

Hi Maria. We developed the Launcher to MOSTLY run in the background, out of sight of the user... but be available if the user wants to open it.
What your describing should definitely NOT happen. Have you contact our Help Desk yet? If not, I can open a case and get them in touch with you. The current Launcher is very stable so I would not expect that behavior.
Thanks Maria.
