Greater granularity surrounding what users can and cannot do (actions/operations). Not to be confused with Permissions (access to Matters and content).
Historically, LexWorkplace provided limited granularity around Rights and Group membership. With this new (pending) feature, nearly every available action/operation in LexWorkplace has a corresponding Right that can be enabled or disabled for any given Group.
By using Groups + Rights Management, firms can tightly control what actions certain users/groups can perform (and which they cannot).

The sheer number of settings that are able to be changed and things that can be added and/or deleted within LW without Admin approval is concerning. Every setting within LW that deals with the creation, deletion, or preservation of matter, clients, files, file types, information tags, categorizing, etc. should never be an all or nothing permission setting. Please, for the love all that's holy, make every setting / feature have the ability to lock it down or keep it editable, if the firm desires. Not every firm has the same policies and some firm deal with information that can never be altered once entered. This should be a DMS 101 level security option, IMHO.
