Rather than each time a document is saved creating a new version, I'd like to control that myself - deliberately saving a version, or just saving over the top of a document.

Currently, if you open a document from LW to work on it, it creates a new "version" every time you click save. This feature would create a new version only when the document is closed (rather than needing to save a copy and upload the copy.)

In addition to the automatic versions created upon each document edit, additional functionality where users could designate specific versions as client-facing "Draft 1," "Draft 2," etc.

I've dying for "Save As" to arrive so I can create a new version when needed. I'm tired of deleting intervening and unnecessary versions and explaining why I'm on version xxx when it should be version 3.

Yes. I need this as well. I do not like that every time I save the document, it creates a new version. This needs to be fixed.
